Uber Lagos has no doubt been the talk of town, especially with their 'ride in style' model which gives Nigerians access to travel in vehicles like the Toyota Prado, for affordable prices via their mobile phone app. The app-based transportation network entered the Nigerian Market in September 2014 with Alastair Curtis, the International Launcher for Uber in Africa.

After some months of operation, Uber has employed Ebi Atawodi as the Lagos General Manager. Ebi Atawodi has over a decade of marketing communications, brand strategy, digital/new media, product activation, brand amplification and corporate sponsorship experience. She previously worked as head of Corporate Communication at Etisalat.
