Women in Tech Africa, founded by Ethel Cofie, is an organization interested in supporting African women in technology, and the growth of Africa through technology. The organization has announced it will hold its opening event in London on the 8th of July, 2015; followed by its quarterly event the day after in Ghana.

The Theme for the event is ‘Women Leadership and the African Technology Dialogue’, and it's targeted at women of African descent working in the tech sector in the UK, “afrophiles” and organizations that have an interest in Africa.

Amongst other things the event will focus on how the diaspora can connect and how women in tech Africa can support those in the diaspora.
