Jumia Partners Kaymu To Launch AIG- Express In Kenya

Jumia and Kaymu have partnered up to launch AIG-Express, a logistics system that is looking into a fulfilling delivery platform for online sellers across Africa and creating more job opportunities across Kenya.

The venture is currently delivering up-to 100,000 packages a day for Jumia and Kaymu with the number expected to grow five-folds by the end of the year. - Indrek Heinloo, leader of the initiative across Africa

The platform will carry out technological and skill development training for the onboarded logistics personnel to process transaction processes such as “Pay on delivery” transactions, electronic tracking of packages alongside mobile equipment for effective communication with.
All logistics companies to join the AIG Express network as long as the companies are able to provide reliable logistics services in line with set standards.
