Airtel Nigeria just recently introduced their 3-in-1 smart SIM card that comprises all three SIM card sizes: Nano, Micro and Standard SIM. This new development will enable their customers switch devices easily without having to get their SIM cards resized each time.

Speaking on the product, the Chief Commercial Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Maurice Newa, said, “The Smart SIM is the first of its kind in Nigeria and it provides the smartphone user the freedom to switch devices and retain the same SIM card. With this new SIM package, which costs N300, customers will no longer need to cut their SIM cards when they change their mobile device.”

The new SIM also comes upgraded with 128kb of memory in contrast with the existing 64kb cards, which offers more capacity and additional space for customers to store more contact and SMS.

The service is currently available to all Airtel Nigeria customers at Airtel walk-in centers. For further details, click here.
