The Nigerian Senate has an official Twitter account

The Legislative Arm of the Nigerian government, aka the "Red Chamber", aka the Nigerian Senate, apparently now has an official Twitter account.

The account (unverified at the moment) went live a little over a month ago and has managed to garner over 7000 followers as of this publication. You can expect to see regular and timely updates from the Senate by following @NGRSenate.

[UPDATE]: There is also an official Facebook account.
