Triple SIM smartphones are almost a thing. Introducing the Bluboo Xfire 2

Dual SIM smartphones are huge in this part of the world. So much so that they have become the de facto for local OEMs. But if you thought Dual SIM phones were the best thing since sliced bread, you're in for a pleasant surprise.

Bluboo, a China-based OEM, is rumoured to be currently working on the Bluboo Xfire 2, which is poised to become the world's first Triple SIM card smartphone. It will be a midrange device that features:

  • a 5-inch HD display
  • 1.3GHz Quad-core  processor,
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal memory expandable to 32GB via microSD. The third SIM slot will double as a memory card slot)
  • a fingerprint scanner

The Bluboo Xfire 2 will also Android 5.1 Lollipop and be price at roughly $69.99. While details of the camera are yet to be released, chances are the front camera will feature LED flash.

That's quite a lot of smartphone for nearly N18,000 don't you think. The Bluboo Xfire 2 is reportedly scheduled to launch later this month.
