On-demand US streaming service, Netflix yesterday unexpectedly announced its expansion into 130 countries, including Nigeria, at the 2016 edition of the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) which held in the US.

Some of the other countries included Singapore, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Russia and India.

Netflix pricing in Nigeria seems to be in line with that of the US at about N2,000 ($8.00) per month. The price seems to be considerable at first, but considering its a streaming service, the cost & quality of data needed to fully enjoy 'Netflix and chill' will need to be factored in, like someone had already done.

Which shows it's not going to be as cheap as this person thinks

My thoughts are in line with this person's tweet

Especially if Netflix decides to partner with mobile carriers in the country as a way of making payments easy. But the likely form would be through credit and debit cards.
