Weekdays are long but the weekends are shorter. The good thing is that the weekend begins on Friday -- little wonder why the TGIF mantra is popular in this part of the world.

Rather than asking yourself what you spent your seemingly short weekend doing, come the dawn of Monday, the alternative could have been to be more productive knowing you were a part of one interesting conversation that went down in Abuja the Friday before.

The StartUP Friday initiative will convene stakeholders within the local tech ecosystem with the aim of facilitating networking and exchange of ideas and information, and most importantly, changing the face of the ecosystem. The last edition rolled out with impressive turn out and encouraging feedback that spurred this next edition.

The second edition of StartUP Friday, which is already, here will be holding on March 18, 2016 and it promises to begin your weekend on a good note. Bring your startup idea down to the event and be a part of the conversation.

And hey, who says it’s all just going to be about conversations - Fireside Chats, mentorship talks, lightning speeches and the everything that concerns how you can grow your startup. You could also come along with your selfie stick, because there’s going to be a lot of pictures with the industry big guns to last you a life time of social media uploads. The fun and excitement should be as rewarding as the entire StartUP Friday agenda itself. If you find that promising, you can still register to attend.

Lest I forget, Red Sparrow, Maitama in Abuja is where it would be happening live, I will be there. Adewale Yusuf will be there as well, and so should you, especially those in Abuja.
