Programmers on the job

Are you a software developer? Do you feel there’s a need for a community of developers that will enable collective interaction and sharing of ideas? Or probably you feel the need to strengthen existing ones? Then the arrival of this year’s “forLoop event” couldn’t have been more timely.

Sponsored by iDEA and Gigalayer, forLoop envisions a community where software developers can meet, interact and share ideas on different technology trends and topics, and as such build and strengthen the so called community of developers that has been greatly clamoured for.

The 2016 edition, holding at the iDEA Hub tomorrow, will include presentations about Continuous delivery without the drama, Server monitoring, and Appitecture - a node module for application scaffolding.

More interesting thing to note about the event is that it is going to be open source. Meaning there's a lot of room for everyone to participate without discrimination of sort.

The speakers for the event include;

  • Ajibz (founder Amebo App ) who will be speaking on server monitoring.
  • D.j (a javascript developer at Hotels.ng) who will be shedding more light on Appitecture -- a nodejs module he developed.
  • Prosper Otemuyiwa (a developer trainer at Andela) who will be presenting a talk on continuous delivery without the drama.

However the conversation is not limited to these guys; interested speakers are urged to complete their interest by sending an email to [email protected]. Sounds interesting already.

Granted, the weekend is already upon us, but I bet the weekend begins on Sunday for those developers who are already clapping their hands for this.

Lest I forget the time for the event is 12:30pm to 1:30pm tomorrow, 30th April. You can register your interest to attend here. Hurry, as there are only a few slots left
