The yearly Innovating Justice Challenge to help fund the brightest ideas and businesses centred on access to justice has finally released the shortlisted innovations of 2016.
This years challenge has 15 innovations from West Africa, 25 innovations from East Africa, 8 innovations from South Africa, 3 innovations from North Africa and 1 innovation from East Africa and 17 innovations Ukraine shortlisted.

These innovations will continue to work on their profiles until next week, when the voting campaign will begin online. The voting will begin on Wednesday 3rd, August at 00:01 GMT +2 (Netherlands time) and will end at 23:59 GMT +2 (Netherlands time) on Monday 15th, August.
Based on the voting and on expert advice, the top 2 vote recipients in Family Justice; the top 2 vote recipients in SME Empowerment; the top 2 Ukrainian general legal tech; and the top non-Ukrainian general legal tech will all become semi-finalists automatically as a result of their hard work in the voting round.
