On the 31st of August, Facebook is hosting "Facebook for Developers Workshop", for Nigerian engineers, product managers and partners in Lagos to help them build better applications and monetize more effectively.
The session will be packed with practical advice and detailed information on how developers can take advantage of the latest features of the Facebook Platform, Bots on Messenger and Open Source development tools.
In addition, Ime Archibong, Facebook's Director of Global Product Partnerships, will share their ten-year roadmap and the important role of Africa in achieving the mission.
The event will be split into three workshop streams;
- "Reaching your audience with Bots on Messenger"
- "Building fast and reliable login flows with Account Kit"
- "Making your apps globally accessible with React Native"
The Facebook Product Partnerships and Engineering teams will provide attendees with hands-on instruction via code-labs, tech-talks, and updates on the latest Facebook Platform products, all designed to help developers build and grow a successful business. The talk will be concluded with an open question and answer session.
On the event, Ime Archibong, Facebook's Director of Global Product Partnerships said,
