Launched by Michael Olatunbosun on the 6th of February, 2017, Moovedin is a marketplace that "connects struggling home seekers with people looking to let or sell their properties".

Moovedin provides access to properties whilst allowing successful users to post reviews about an agent or a property or read reviews by others before approaching the agent for a meetup.

Furthermore, Moovedin encourages business and social interaction between home seekers and estate agents. This particularly gives agents the opportunity to build a brand of followers on social media through their profile pages.

Impressions

Housing remains a major problem, especially in cities like Lagos where they come off as expensive. Asides that, the process of getting apartments is not usually straightforward. Often times it is riddled with a number of challenges that make the process tiring. This invariably justifies the rise of so many online housing platforms. And it seems fitting that Moovedin is also trying to make a huge impact in the space.

As much as Moovedin will be playing a huge role in providing shelter for many, it doesn't remove the fact that the real estate space is quite saturated. While the healthy competition this will create is something to look forward to, one might just wonder how a platform as this wants to slug it out with strong household names.

Perhaps, it’s a little soon to write off their chances as Moovedin could just offer many potential home seekers something they may not actually be able to find elsewhere.

Should you need a home and find Moovedin interesting, you can simply find them by visiting their website.
