Etisalat came to Nigeria with a bang, but 9 years later, we are left with 9Mobile. Etisalat UAE, the parent company has sold its shares in the Nigerian subsidiary due to the controversy around its $1.2 billion loan.

At the helm of this transition is Bode Olusanya, the current CEO. Olusanya seems experienced in matters such as this. In recent past, he was part of the team that birthed Airtel from Celtel.
