The Slatecube iDeaLabs project is a 3-month training designed to develop and place up to 500 African graduates annually into top-notch jobs across the globe.

Our curriculum encompasses content from educational partners like MIT, Harvard, and Stanford, as well as global and local businesses, and finally, top notch industry professionals from across business, management, technology, media, and finance.

iDeaLabs is designed to help you develop skills and experience needed to land some of the best jobs available and we take only 10 applicants every batch. Winners will be announced on 21st July 2017.

MIT Opportunities  for Women in Tech
Solve

The Women and Technology challenge at Solve, is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Solve is a marketplace connecting innovators with resources to solve global challenges. The program seeks innovators and entrepreneurs who can find solutions to how women and girls of all socioeconomic backgrounds can use technology to fully participate and prosper in the economy. The Women and Technology challenge is Co-chaired by Indra Nooyi, CEO, PepsiCo, and Ursula Burns, Chairman, Xerox. Airtel Digital Journalism Training 2017

Google Digital Journalism Program 2017

The digital journalism training being sponsored by Airtel Nigeria under the aegis of The Journalism Clinic, will start in Lagos on Monday, 21 August. The training will be facilitated by Dan Mason, an internationally-acclaimed digital journalism trainer will last five days in each location, with three days for multimedia storytelling and two days for data journalism. In 2015, Airtel Nigeria had sponsored 100 journalists on the #ChangeYourStory multimedia storytelling training also organised by The Journalism Clinic and facilitated by Mason. The Kaduna leg of the training starts on Monday 28 August.

  • The WSA Young Innovators call is eligible for projects that: developed by young innovators under the age of 30
    Offer digital solutions to any of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Deliver content rich digital solutions to the user including individuals, businesses and organisations
    have a strong digital component: websites, apps, sms based solutions, IoT, wearables etc.
    are market ready or already launched on the market – no ideas or concepts are eligible
