Among the players within the Nigerian logistics industry is Central Dispatch Africa. Founded by Frank Eson, the startup launched operations on April 21, 2017.
Central Dispatch Africa considers itself a digital solution provider in Nigeria’s transportation industry, that primarily bridges the gap between clearing agents, shippers, and forwarders.
We provide a national platform for transporters and cargo shippers to meet. We are online, and nationwide.
How Central Dispatch Africa works
The operations model of Central Dispatch Africa is quite unique. Users looking to import or transport vehicles, equipment, machineries or any types of goods simply sign up on the platform and post their consignment. From there, clearing agents on the platform get to bid on users’ consignment. Users then pick their preferred clearing agent and proceed to payment.
Frank believes local middlemen pose a great competition. Nevertheless, he banks on very affordable transportation costs and ultimate consumer prices as their unique selling point. Frank Eson isn’t alone in this journey. He has with him, Anthony Smith (President), Anthony Aganmwonyi (Jr – CTO), Akin Anenih – (SVP), and Maurice Inah (Operations Manager).
