This week, we learnt that Funke Akindele, award-winning Nigerian actress will be making her Hollywood debut in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War. Funke will be playing the role of a Dora Milaje -- all female personal body guards of Black Panther -- member in the movie as published on IMBD.

Fulani herdsmen strike again

In last week's roundup, we reported that Fulani herdsmen attacked Tiv communities in Benue state as they have in other states across Nigeria. This week, in a fresh attack, herdsmen invaded a Mobile Police camp in the Logo Local Government of Benue State, killed two policemen and burnt some houses in the area after the attack.

Following the death toll of victims of these attacks, the Benue State govenment conducted a mass burial for the 73 victims of the attack yesterday. Indegenes of Benue state and other Nigerians took to social media to mourn the dead using the #BenueMourns hashtag. Here are a few of them.

According to the factsheet, the Presidency has directed the Inspector General of Police to relocate to Benue State, the Nigerian Army has deployed Special Forces to Benue, Taraba, and Nasarawa States among other actions.
