The Nigerian healthcare system is bugged with poor health service delivery as patients spend a substantial amount of time in clinics waiting for services to be delivered by healthcare professionals. According to a research conducted in Usmaru Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, more than half of the patients waited for more than an hour to get health services. Reducing this waiting time and also providing premium health services is what icare is set to achieve.

Nwachukwu Christian and his five-man team swung into action to create an online platform on January 4, 2018, to tackle this challenge by connecting patients to healthcare providers for consultation and other medical advice, therefore making access to healthcare professionals a seamless process as possible.

icare

We run a  24/7 support service in anticipation of a patient who initiates a chat request. The platform is not limited to offering health services, users can also make more money for themselves by referring people to the platform”.

User registers, subscribe to a plan and then book an appointment which is immediately followed up by icare team.

Christian claims that icare’s chat app is one amongst several that make it stand out from other e-health platforms.
