Founded by Oyetayo Oyewolu and Dieji Onatunde, Palmfront is an online platform that creates wedding catalogues for couples. It officially launched on August 1, 2015, with a five-man team.

According to the founders, Palmfront was inspired by the drive to spice up and modernise weddings in Nigeria by filling the lack of wedding cataloguing and gift registry creation. By integrating social media networking and eCommerce , it affords couples the opportunity to tell their love story, create gift registries, send e-invitations to guests, create online wedding albums, reach out to wedding vendors and get wedding inspirations/ideas.

Being a new business idea in Nigeria, the team recognises no real competition.

There is currently no online gift registry or wedding catalogue creator in Nigeria. However, we have present conventional e-commerce companies like Jumia, Konga and Payporte which are potential competitors. "

As claimed by the founders, couples have the option to select from their pool of over 30,000 gift items compiled from brands like Samsung, Sony and more. However, if it happens that their preferred gifts are not found, they can simply make use of the "create-a-gift" service to add their desired gifts. Guests can also visit the gift registry to make purchase or give cash contributions.

What's more interesting is that Palmfront promises to deliver all gift items purchased to the couple free of charge, after the wedding.
