At a pre-launch event, Sidmach Technologies expressed intent to launch its Cloud Solutions Platform. The platform will give businesses the ability to store and access information and documents on the cloud without paying the exorbitant fares usually associated with cloud solutions.
Cloud solutions enable individuals and businesses use a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer, thereby saving costs and increasing efficiency.
With a record spanning over 20 years, Sidmach Technologies has done some major work in the areas of education, administration, finances, agriculture, governance among others. The IT infrastructure for the West African Examination Council(WAEC), Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB), and the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) are among some of Sidmach's products.
On the new CSP platform as a Microsoft CSP 1-Tier partner, Sidmach offers Azure, Officer 365, Hosted Exchange, Dynamic 365 and unique custom cloud solutions. Some of the custom cloud solutions on offer include;
- SmartSchool; a school management and administration solution,
- APMIS solution; an all-purpose medical information system and
- Procuring, a pharmaceutical management solution.
This platform is provisioned to satisfy the business and daily needs of individuals,large organisations and mostly SMEs.
Speaking on what the Cloud Solutions Platform hopes to achieve, Peter Arogundade Managing Director Sidmach Technologies said;
For individuals, small and large businesses and even the government, the CSP [Cloud Solutions Platform] will provide flexibility, data recovery, automatic software updates, security, document management among other benefits.
The Sidmach Cloud Solution Platform will be officially launched on the 10th of March 2017. When it launches, Seyi Odusanya, Head of Sales and Marketing for Sidmach Technologies assuredly says the pricing will be made affordable for SMEs and small businesses.
