UrbanErrands is an online platform that connects busy people to unemployed persons who are skilled and willing to run errands just for a token. The platform was co-founded by Nneka Clara Odinaka and Ifeanyichukwu Ngobili.

While it allows customers to contract out their tasks,  individuals can also sign up as "Task Runners".

In the bid to offer a valuable service, the founders claim to source the best persons from technical colleges and vocational schools who get trained in customers service before being deployed to busy clients all over Lagos.

In her words:

We are a Nigerian Startup that sells TIME to busy People and JOBS to the unemployed. Think of us as "the Uber of home chores and corporate tasks"

Listing competitors like WeSabi, Glorby, Local Artisans, and a few others, it is evident that UrbanErrands has a lot to give to stand out. Perhaps, the thorough vetting the founders claim their task runners go through, will gain their customers' trust and earn them a fair share of the market audience.

The founders opened for business on January 30, 2017.

You may proceed to the website to hire some task runners.
